DJ Spider has been behind the decks since 2000, and behind the mic as a wedding specialist since 2015. His style is simple: read the room, keep the night moving, and never lose sight of the two people the whole evening is actually for.

He mixes to the moment — hip hop, house, and dance tracks get beat-matched and blended, while slow jams, rock, and country get an honest fade. On the mic he leans toward less-is-more, saying what needs to be said with a little flair and keeping the spotlight on the couple. Ask him for a request and he'll take it seriously — and he'll also hold the line on the do-not-play list, because reading the room matters more than any single song.

He's danced to it all himself: house is his first love, with techno, old-school hip hop, R&B, Baltimore club, and Motown slow jams close behind. "There is NO style of music that I don't like."

DJ Spider's advice for couples is straightforward — you can't please everyone, so make your day the one you actually want. And when things go sideways, he's ready: a backup laptop, a spare hard drive, extra batteries, and a mic full of stories to keep the room going if the power doesn't cooperate. "I will do whatever it takes to make your dream day come to fruition." He once spent a full cocktail hour handing out turkey-themed socks in a matching pair, just because a couple wanted their guests wearing them.
