Hear the groove
Straight from the stage — no studio polish, just sax, bass and a crowd that can’t sit still. Press play to listen.
Two players. One big groove.
Flavortooth is a high-energy saxophone and bass duo serving up a unique blend of groove-driven music influenced by the rich traditions of funk, blues, jazz, and R&B. Featuring dynamic saxophone melodies, infectious bass lines, and an unmistakable stage presence, Flavortooth transforms every performance into a celebration of rhythm, soul, and musical craftsmanship.
Drawing inspiration from the deep-pocket grooves of classic funk, the expressive storytelling of the blues, the improvisational spirit of jazz, and the timeless feel of R&B, Flavortooth creates a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly original. Their performances effortlessly move between smooth and sophisticated, gritty and soulful, and upbeat and danceable, keeping audiences engaged from the first note to the last encore.
Whether performing in breweries, festivals, wineries, private events, corporate gatherings, or community celebrations, Flavortooth delivers a versatile musical experience tailored to the moment. Their stripped-down duo format allows for spontaneity, creativity, and an intimate connection with audiences while maintaining the energy and depth of a much larger ensemble.
Known for their distinctive green-flame personas and their motto, “Bold Funk. Zero Compromise,” Flavortooth brings personality, musicianship, and groove to every stage they play. From laid-back cocktail vibes to full-on dance floor energy, Flavortooth proves that two musicians can create a powerful, unforgettable sound.
